Chandigarh is one of the 7 union territories[?] of India, as well as the name of its capital city.

Chandigarh is a planned city, like Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat.

Several buildings in Chandigarh were designed by the Swiss architect Le Corbusier in the 1950s.
