Carthage College

Carthage College is a private college of the liberal arts and sciences, affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church[?] in America. Located midway between Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the campus is on the shore of Lake Michigan and is home to 1,723 full-time and 750 part-time students.

Carthage awards the Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in more than 30 subject areas, and the Master of Education degree. Carthage also hosts the joint Executive MBA and Master of Social Work degree awarded by Loyola University in Chicago.

The Carthage faculty comprises nearly 100 scholars, 90 percent of whom hold the doctorate or other terminal degree. Carthage College was founded in 1847.
