Carthage Airport

Carthage Airport is an international airport, located in Tunis, Tunisia. Although it doesn't carry the tag "international", it is served by airlines of multiple countries, making it an international facility.

It is a hub for Tunisair[?], Nouvel Air Tunisie[?], Tuninter[?] and Tunisavia[?].

On May 7 of 2002 it suffered a tragedy as a Boeing 737 of Egyptair[?], attempting to land from Cairo crashed 4 miles from the airport, killing 14 of the 62 people on board.

The airport is named after the Carthage tombs located near Tunis.
