Carol Lynn Maillard

Carol Lynn Maillard was one of the founding members of the African American a cappella ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock. She is an accomplished actress, singer and composer. Her acting credits include roles on Broadway (Eubie[?], Comin' Uptown[?], Beehive); off-Broadway (in several Negro Ensemble Company[?] productions and in the New York Shakespeare Festival[?]); television (For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enuf[?], Hallelujah![?]); and film (Beloved[?], Thirty to Life[?]). Maillard has also been a guest vocalist for artists Horace Silver and Betty Buckley[?].
