Carambola

Larger carambolas

Carambola or star fruit (bot. Averrhoa[?] carambola, Averrhoaceae[?] or Oxalidaceae[?]) is native to Sri Lanka and popular throughout Southeast Asia. The fruit is golden-yellow to green and when cut across shows a five-pointed star shape.
