Cancer Coast

The Cancer Coast is a moniker given by Oncologists[?] at the Texas Medical Center[?] in Houston and members of the Houston-area media to a region of the Texas Gulf Coast[?] stretching from the Sabine River to the southern boundary of Brazoria County and reaching 20 to 50 miles inland.

Oncologists and media postulate that the cancer clusters[?] evident in this area might be caused by the high concentration of petrochemical plants[?].
