Canada Post

Canada Post or Canada Post Corporation (CPC) is Canada's government-controlled mail service. Actually a successor to the Post Office Department, of the government of Canada, this Crown corporation was created in 1981 under the Canada Post Act[?], in order to set a new direction for the postal service[?], in an effort to create a more reliable service, as well as financial security and independence for the country.

Canada Post Systems Management Limited[?], CPSML, was founded by the CPC in 1990 to market the company's systems and technology in the global marketplace. As of the end of 2000, there was 80 successful projects in 38 countries.
