Camden, Maine

Camden, ME, is a nice town on the coast of Maine. Bob Metcalfe[?] has a house in nearby Lincolnville and John Sculley has an in-town mansion. Each fall there is a conference called Pop!Tech with a bunch of fancy-pants thinker types discussing large topics, like being human in the digital age. If you like those sorts but can't afford the conference, visit the town anyway and you can watch it on the local cable access channel -- or watch the streaming video over the Internet.

Camden also has a very nice library rebuilt in a recent years. Camden is the home town of poet Edna St. Vincent Millay, and a large, but now obscurely relocated statue of her looks out over the harbor.
