Byromville is a town located in Dooly County, Georgia. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 415.

Geography Byromville is located at 32°12'5" North, 83°54'29" West (32.201496, -83.908028)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.9 km² (0.4 mi²). 0.9 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 415 people, 128 households, and 92 families residing in the town. The population density is 445.1/km² (1,153.7/mi²). There are 150 housing units at an average density of 160.9/km² (417.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 42.65% White, 51.57% African American, 0.48% Native American, 0.96% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 3.61% from other races, and 0.72% from two or more races. 5.30% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 128 households out of which 32.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.3% are married couples living together, 24.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 28.1% are non-families. 25.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 12.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.54 and the average family size is 3.02.

In the town the population is spread out with 19.3% under the age of 18, 7.2% from 18 to 24, 22.7% from 25 to 44, 20.0% from 45 to 64, and 30.8% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 46 years. For every 100 females there are 77.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 73.6 males.

The median income for a household in the town is $21,765, and the median income for a family is $23,333. Males have a median income of $22,083 versus $19,531 for females. The per capita income for the town is $9,362. 27.5% of the population and 25.7% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 30.3% are under the age of 18 and 26.7% are 65 or older.
