The case of
Buyant Ukha Airport in
Ulaanbaatar, is a very strange one, because although it is that country's largest international air facility, it is served only by one
airline,
Mongolia's international air carrier,
MIAT-Mongolian Airlines[?].
The airport, of course, serves as a hub for this company.
The airport lies 9 kilometers from downtown Ulan Batur, and it accepts most jet types. In the past, other airlines from various international locations have served the airport.
