Brownies

Brownies were originally pixie-like creatures who became the female version of Cub scouts[?] in Britain, or the younger version of Guides. They are divided into packs with names such as Leprechauns, Pixies[?] and so on. As Britain now allows girls to join the Cubs (like America) Brownies are dying out.

"To be chucked out of the Brownies" is a punishment that never takes place, a fake threat.

"Good Brownie points" means that it is in your interest to do something.

Despite Brownies dying out, the above phrases are still used in British English.
