Redirected from Bliss symbolics
Bliss is based on the Chinese concept of ideograms, with which Bliss familiarised himself in Shanghai while a refugee from Nazi persecution.
Bliss consists of several hundred basic symbols that can be composed together to generate new symbols to represent new concepts.
Bliss symbols have become popular as a method of communication for people with selective brain damage, for whom it can be impossible to learn character-based languages.
