Belize District

Belize District is a district of the nation of Belize, with its district capital in the nation's largest city, Belize City. Also in Belize District are the towns of Hattieville, Ladyville, and San Pedro Town[?], as well as the ancient Maya ruins of Altun Ha. According to the 2000 census, Belize District had a population of 74,065 people.
