Barbara Gowdy

Barbara Gowdy is a Canadian novelist. In February 2003 The Romantic was released in Canada. The book is now a Canadian bestseller. It was published in the United States in May 2003. Gowdy was nominated for a Governor General's Award for her novel Mister Sandman in 1995 and her novel White Bone in 1998.
