Avitaminosis is any disease caused by a vitamin deficiency. They are designated by the same letter as the vitamin. Avitaminoses include

avitaminosis A, xerophthalmia[?] or night blindness[?]
thiamin deficiency causes beriberi
niacin deficiency causes pellagra[?]
avitaminosis C, scurvy
vitamin D deficiency causes rickets
