Avelgem

Avelgem is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Avelgem proper, Bossuit[?], Kerkhove[?], Outrijve[?] and Waarmaarde[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Avelgem had a total population of 9,148 (4,506 males and 4,642 females). The total area is 21.96 km² which gives a population density of 416.58 inhabitants per km².
