Assamite

The Assamite are a fictional clan of vampires, from White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade books and role-playing games. Unlike most vampires, the Assamite are associated with neither the Camarilla nor the Sabbat; much of the Assamite symbology is Arabic, in origin. White Wolf states, "Assamites kill other [vampires] without provocation. [They] are known...as a clan of murderous assassins." (VtM3 -- p.90) Even when compared to other vampires, the Assamite appear addicted to blood.
