Armoured fighting vehicle
An armoured fighting vehicle (AFV) is a military vehicle, equipped with protection against hostile attacks and often mounted weapons. Most AFVs are equipped for driving in rugged terrain.

- Armoured personnel carrier (APC)
- Infantry fighting vehicle (IFV)
- Assault gun
- Anti-tank vehicle
- Armored car
- Self-propelled artillery
- Multiple Launch Rocket System[?] (MLRS)
- Anti-aircraft vehicle
- Combat engineering vehicle (CEV)
A technical is a type of unarmored fighting vehicle. A tachanka is a horse-driven unarmored fighting vehicle.
