Arete

In Greek mythology, Queen Arete of Scheria[?] was a queen of the Phaeacians[?], wife of Alcinous and mother of Nausicaa and Laodamas. She welcomed Odysseus and treated him hospitably.

"Areté" (αρετη) is also the Greek word for virtue.
