The Arctic Fox (Alopex lagopus) is a small fox native to cold Arctic regions of the Northern Hemisphere. The population of Arctic Foxes fluctuates along with the population of lemmings.

The Arctic Fox is a member of the Canidae family. Arctic Foxes are dull brown, paler underneath, in the summer. In the winter, most turn white all over; some turn bluish gray.
