Anarcho-feminism

Redirected from Anarcho-Feminism

Some feminist anarchists - specifically of the left-anarchist kind - talk specifically of anarchofeminism (or anarchafeminism). They characterise government as a male dominated and biased institution and many advocate anarchistic forms of matriarchy. A variant, known as "tribal feminism", combines feminism with the eco-village (see anarchism and nature).

Compare and oppose Wendy McElroy's individualist feminism, which is an invidualist anarchist approach.
