American Media, Inc., is publisher of all the major United States based tabloid newspapers National Enquirer[?], Star Magazine[?], Globe Magazine[?], National Examiner[?], and Weekly World News as well as Country Weekly[?], ¡Mira![?], and Auto World Weekly[?].

American Media's corporate headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida figured prominently in news headlines in late 2001, after an anthrax attack was perpetrated on the company.
