Alveringem

Alveringem is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Alveringem proper, Beveren, Gijverinkhove[?], Hoogstade[?], Izenberge[?], Leisele, Oeren[?], Sint-Rijkers[?] and Stavele[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Alveringem had a total population of 4,805 (2,449 males and 2,356 females). The total area is 80.46 km² which gives a population density of 59.72 inhabitants per km².
