Albertson's

Albertson's is a grocery store chain that owns several other stores, including Jewel, Osco, Acme, and Savon[?].

Albertson's was founded by Joe Albertson[?] in 1939 in Boise, Idaho. In 1969, Albertson's partnered with Skagg's[?] to create the first combination grocery - drug store. Later, Albertson's acquired Seessel’s, Smitty’s, Super One Foods, and Buttrey Food and Drug, and Bruno’s.

On June 30, 2003, at an Irvine, California Albertson's store, a former employee of the store, identified as 30 year old Joseph Hunter Parker (a diagnosed schizophrenic), walked in with a sword and killed two employees before being killed himself by police.
