Albany International Airport

Albany International Airport (IATA code: ALB) is a regional facility in upstate New York.

Albany International Airport can accept a variety of short range airliners and has 50 airbridges. Although the airport is significant and well-equipped, it is essentially a regional airport, the only flight that entitles it to the description international being a regular service to Canada.

Occasionally, some major airlines have served the short route between this airport and New York's other airports, La Guardia International Airport[?] and JFK International Airport. Such have been the cases of New York Air[?], which used to operate that route with Boeing 737 aircraft, and Delta Airlines who flew Boeing 727s on that route.
