Agricultural Adjustment Act

In the United States, the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1933 restricted production by paying farmers to reduce crop acreage. It was declared unconstitutional in 1936 Supreme Court case U.S. v. Butler[?]. Congress then achieved same goals with the:

• 1938 Agricultural Act[?].
