Affligem

Affligem is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the towns of Affligem proper, Essene[?], Hekelgem[?] and Teralfene[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Affligem had a total population of 11,651 (5,723 males and 5,928 females). The total area is 17.93 km² which gives a population density of 649.80 inhabitants per km².
