Adrian Olivares

Adrian Olivares (born 1978) is a Mexican singer. Blonde and blue eyed, Adrian became, in 1990, the first non-Puerto Rican member of Menudo.

Soon after Adrian joined, members from Venezuela and Argentina also joined. But then controversy rattled the group, as a drug arrest in Miami International Airport against members Sergio Glass[?] and Ruben Gomez[?] and a sex scandal involving Edgardo Diaz and former member Ralphy Rodriguez threatened the music group. Out of all the members of that Menudo line-up, only Olivares remained in the group after the controversies had cleared.

Olivares retired from Menudo when he reached mandatory retirement age, at 16, in 1994. He is rumored to be starting a new band in Mexico, named Maremotto[?].
