Acre is one of the states of Brazil, located in the northern part of the country, in the middle of the Amazon rainforest[?]. Acre is a well-known producer and exporter of rubber. Its territory was part of Bolivia until 1903, when Brazil bought it through diplomatic agreement, after a secessionist war against Bolivian authorities.
