Achtkarspelen

Achtkarspelen (population: 28,044) is a municipality in the northern Netherlands, in the province of Friesland. The municipality covers an area of 103.98 km² (of which 1.20 km² water).

The municipality of Achtkarspelen consists the following towns, villages and townships: Augustinusga[?], Boelenslaan[?], Buitenpost[?], Drogeham[?], Gerkesklooster-Stroobos[?], Harkema[?], Kootstertille[?], Surhuisterveen[?], Surhuizum[?], Twijzel[?], Twijzelerheide[?].
