8514 (display standard)

8514 is an IBM graphics computer display standard supporting a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels with 256 colours at 43.5 Hz (interlaced[?]), or 640 x 480 at 60 Hz interlaced. 8514 was introduced at the same time as VGA and was superseded by XGA.
