Zele

Zele is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality only comprises the town of Zele proper. On January 1st, 2000 Zele had a total population of 20,394 (10,226 males and 10,168 females). The total area is 34.43 km² which gives a population density of 592.33 inhabitants per km².
