Zalophus

Zalophus is a genus of the suborder Otariidae (sea lions and fur seals), order Carnivora. It includes only one extant species and three subspecies:

  1. Z. californianus californianus: California sea lion
  2. Z. californianus japonicus: Japanese sea lion[?]
  3. Z. californianus wollenbecki: Galapagos sea lion[?]
