Yuji Hyakutake

Yuji Hyakutake (1950 - April 10, 2002) was a Japanese amateur astronomer who, on January 30, 1996, discovered Comet Hyakutake. He discovered the comet while using binoculars. He had also discovered C/1995 Y1[?]. The media has stated that Hyakutake became interested in astronomy after seeing the Ikeya-Seki.
