Ysbaddaden

In Celtic mythology, Ysbaddaden was the father of Olwen. He was a cruel giant who would die if separated from his daughter. Culhwch, along with his friend, Mabon, came to court Olwen. After many trials and tribulations, he succeeded. Ysbaddaden died, his powers and life transferring to Culhwch.
