XPilot
XPilot is a heavily improved multiplayer able Asteroids clone. It is Open Source and runs on most platforms.
The graphics are still the very old Asteroids style, but the gameplay includes Capture the Flag[?], Base defense and Deathmatch. The controls are best described as weird, since all keys except the coursers do something. Some internet servers exist, but are rarely used.
