Wrenshall is a city located in Carlton County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 308.

Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.9 km² (1.5 mi²). 3.9 km² (1.5 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 308 people, 111 households, and 88 families residing in the city. The population density is 78.8/km² (204.3/mi²). There are 120 housing units at an average density of 30.7/km² (79.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 96.43% White, 0.00% African American, 2.27% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.30% from two or more races. 0.97% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 111 households out of which 44.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.1% are married couples living together, 16.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 20.7% are non-families. 14.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.77 and the average family size is 3.09.

In the city the population is spread out with 32.5% under the age of 18, 6.5% from 18 to 24, 32.8% from 25 to 44, 19.8% from 45 to 64, and 8.4% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 34 years. For every 100 females there are 83.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 90.8 males.

The median income for a household in the city is $39,643, and the median income for a family is $41,875. Males have a median income of $33,438 versus $19,643 for females.
