Wolof

Wolof is a language spoken in Senegal, Gambia and Mauritania. Iso639-code: WOL. It belongs to the Atlantic branch of the Niger-Congo language family.

  • Good Morning - Jama nga fanaan.
  • Thank you - Jerejef.
  • Good Bye - Be beneen yon.

The term "Wolof" is also used to indicate the ethnic group that uses the language.
