William H. Swanson

William H. Swanson joined Raytheon (http://www.raytheon.com) in 1972, one week after graduating with an industrial engineering degree from California Polytechnic State University (which he attended on a golf scholarship). He has held a wide range of leadership positions there, including manufacturing manager of the equipment division, senior vice president and general manager of the missile systems division, general manager of Raytheon Electronic Systems, and chairman and CEO of the Raytheon Systems Co.
