Wild at Heart

Released in 1990, this is an unusual retake on the Wizard of Oz by David Lynch. Starring Nicholas Cage, Laura Dern[?] and Willem Dafoe, the film mixes bizarre almost supernatural events and off-kilter violence making it an atypical road movie which stands all the usual clichés of the genre on their head.
