Wikipedia:Use subheads sparingly

One of Wikipedia's rules to consider:

Use subheads sparingly

Subheads (like the one above) can help to organize a long article into manageable pieces, and provide structure to a complex topic. But use them well: ensure that they nest properly, and don't use them for only one or two paragraphs. The Wikipedia software has an option to number these headings; turning on this option may help you see problems with subheads.

See debate.
