  1. Signing in is better than posting anonymously: it gives you more clout and more respectability. It's easier for people to get to know you and how you think, because we can all rememeber "Clutch" (mnemonic: helps me shift gears) better than 63.xxx.xxx.xxx (IP address).
  2. The place to discuss changes is the Talk page connected to the article in question -- never try to "discuss" on the vandalism in progress page, which is really only for kids scrawling graffiti on pages.
  3. Serious disagreement gets hammered out, in what I'd like to think is a courteous and rational manner, on the talk pages. There's also an e-mail list. Take it slow, learn as you go.
