Wikipedia:Spellchecking project

Using this maintenance page (/w/wiki.phtml?title=Special:Maintenance&subfunction=mispeelings) which uses this list of common misspellings, it has become easy to fix common spelling mistakes throughout Wikipedia. To avoid duplication of effort and to ensure that spelling mistakes are indeed removed on a regular basis, I propose the following: people pick one or more letters and pledge to correct all the misspellings that start with those letters and are reported by the above maintenance page; this correcting should happen on a regular basis, maybe once a week or so.
