Convention: In general, there are no special naming conventions for cities, unless multiple cities with the same name exist.Cities in the United States and Canada, however, will be disambiguated with a format of [[City, State]] or [[City, Province]] (the "comma convention"). Over 30,000 U.S. city articles are already in the form of "City, State" even if they do not need disambiguation. Those U.S. cities which need additional disambiguation will be disambiguated with their County (e.g. Elgin, Lancaster County, South Carolina and Elgin, Kershaw County, South Carolina).
