WikiWeb works remarkably well as long as it is built by imformed people, who follow established guides for the Wiki. Wikis are not at all robust against hackers and usually provides only talkthreads to help determine concensus. The most valuable facts, opinions and hypotheses are not generally found here because they're, well, valuable.

This might work in the way making a "motion" in civil government works, requiring a second. The feature could be an addition to the 'versions' page and allow for a choice of which edit to revert to.--Stevert
