Wikipedia:Improving WikiWeb

This page should probably be added, redirectd to, or linked to - either the existing Wikipedia improvements page or the Wiki software pages,

WikiWeb works remarkably well as long as it is built by imformed people, who follow established guides for the Wiki. Wikis are not at all robust against hackers and usually provides only talkthreads to help determine concensus. The most valuable facts, opinions and hypotheses are not generally found here because they're, well, valuable.

However, it is a great start and this page is for your suggestions about making it even better. If you are a senior consulting developer, you may see if the mission (http://discussIT.org/mission) suits you, and send a cover letter and resume to bmchenry@alum.mit.edu.

Central Wikiweb issues:

This might work in the way making a "motion" in civil government works, requiring a second. The feature could be an addition to the 'versions' page and allow for a choice of which edit to revert to.--Stevert

Editing and consensus

Automation of rules and conventions
Chat-Style software for the talk-page

Naming conventions

Advanced system features
