WIYN Consortium

The University of Wisconsin, Indiana University, Yale University, and the National Optical Astronomy Observatories[?] (NOAO).

The universities financed the construction of the WIYN Observatory at Kitt Peak National Observatory in 1994 while the NOAO operates the facility.

The WIYN Observatory houses a innovative 3.5 metre, 46 ton telescope.
