Whitefish

Whitefish refers to several different species of fish in the coregonus family.

Whitefish Coregonus clupeiformis

This includes the lake whitefish (coregonus clupeaformis), round whitefish (Coregonus cylindraceum) also known as frostfish, cisco or lake herring (Coregonus artedii). Lake whitefish may reach 22 inches (56 cm) and 4 lbs (1.8 kg).
