Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 10,866 people, 4,518 households, and 2,909 families residing in the city. The population density is 339.4/km² (879.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 95.72% White, 0.73% African American, 0.96% Native American, 0.71% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 0.52% from other races, and 1.31% from two or more races. 1.65% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
