Wervik

Wervik is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the city of Wervik and the town of Geluwe[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Wervik had a total population of 17,796 (8,815 males and 8,981 females). The total area is 44.06 km² which gives a population density of 403.90 inhabitants per km².
