Geography Weatherly is located at 40°56'25" North, 75°49'36" West (40.940257, -75.826722)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 7.8 km² (3.0 mi²). 7.8 km² (3.0 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 2,612 people, 931 households, and 679 families residing in the borough. The population density is 335.0/km² (866.8/mi²). There are 1,033 housing units at an average density of 132.5/km² (342.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough is 98.97% White, 0.27% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.23% from other races, and 0.42% from two or more races. 0.69% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 931 households out of which 32.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.9% are married couples living together, 11.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 27.0% are non-families. 23.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.57 and the average family size is 3.03.

In the borough the population is spread out with 23.0% under the age of 18, 5.8% from 18 to 24, 25.2% from 25 to 44, 22.1% from 45 to 64, and 23.9% who are 65 years of age or older.
